Sundaram (JaiShankar), innocent poor villager and Dr. Sandha (K. R. Vijaya), both fall in love. Sandha's father rich man (Major Sundarrajan) decides to fix marriage for Sandha with Moorthi (S. A. Ashokan). Same time Sundaram brings his aunty's daughter Mallika(Manimala), who already got married with Moorthi. But village people misunderstands that Sundaram and Mallika got married. What happened next is the rest of the story.
