Samandhipoo 1980 Tamil color movie staring SivaKumar and Shobha in lead roles along with Vijaya Kanth and SathyaRaj in supporting roles.

Chithambaram (SivaKumar), rikshaw driver and Sivasakthi (Shobha), college lecturer both fall in love. Chithambaram already had issue with rich man Masilamani (ARS) and Masilamani's son Prakash (Vijaya Kanth) want's to marry Sivasakthi. Masilamani sent marriage proposal of Prakash and Sivasakthi to Sivasakthi's parents. Sivasakthi parsents oppose Sivasakthi and Chithambaram's love and accepts Masilamani's marriage proposal with help of Selvaraj (SathyaRaj), who was  Sivasakthi's brother in law. Rest of the story falls how Chithambaram and Sivasakthi succeed in their love or not.
